La Maison Antrachel is a spacious modern house in Les Portes en Ré on the western edge of the Ile de Ré. It has a private sunny garden with plenty of space to sunbathe and relax, as well as a heated pool.

The interior is mainly open plan, with a huge combined kitchen and living area. There is a large open fire for winter evenings, and the living space has a dvd palyer and ipod-compatible sound system. The kitchen has all the usual mod-cons and plenty of tableware.

The house can sleep up to 10 adults and children, there are three bedrooms on the ground floor and a children's bedroom with four bunk beds on the first floor. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, additionally there are two other bath / shower rooms.

The centre of Les Portes en Ré is 5 minutes by bike (bike rental is available just minutes from the house), the nearest beach is also 5 minutes by bike, or a 15 minute walk, all off-road. There is a supermarket in Les Portes, as well as a daily fresh food market in the summer.
